Unfortunately, I don't get to watch all of the games because they start during the day, and I, like most people, am at work where there is no TV. It is very frustrating knowing that there is an awesome tournament game going on that will happen only one time in a year, and I am stuck somewhere where I can't watch it.
So, I started looking for ways to watch the big 12 tournament online. I was pleasantly surprised to discover an option that works wonderfully! I created this blog to help others that might be away from their TV find a viable way to watch their favorite Big 12 teams in action come tournament time.
To watch the big 12 tournament online you will need two things:
1. A broadband Internet connection (DSL, Cable, etc.)
2. A software program that allows you to watch TV online

Most people have access to a computer that is connected to the Internet nowadays, so that should not be to big of a problem. Secondly, you need a software program that will enable you to watch the tournament over the Internet connection.
I use a program called Satellite Direct. I have never had a problem with it, and my friends have all thanked me for sharing this program with them.
There are two main benefits of using Satellite Direct. The first benefit is that you not only get an abundance of sports channels and networks, but you also have the ability to watch all kinds of movies and TV shows. You will have access to over 3500 channels.
A second benefit is there are no monthly fees for this service. If you really wanted too, you could cancel your traditional cable or satellite subscription and save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars each year.
I share all of this with you just so you will know, that if you are going to be somewhere away from your TV during this year's tournament there is a way to watch the big 12 tournament online.
